Overview:
Unimacts can provide your company with a wide array of castings for industrial products. We can cover most materials, processes, sizes, and unit volumes an industrial manufacturer could want. Our castings range from single unit 30 ton steel castings for the shipbuilding industry to thousands of Mg wheels for the auto industry. Unimacts can provide the best value when we machine the casting for you as well. Processes:
Unimacts primarily provides sand castings, though we do have die casting and investment casting capabilities. In addition to basic hand molding, we also have automatic molding lines for high volume parts. We also have the ability to deliver “lost foam” cast parts. For smaller parts we have a number of gravity die casting lines and a few high pressure die castings lines.

Materials:
Unimacts is focused on Fe based alloys, while we also have the ability to deliver Al, Mg and Cu based castings. The majority of our products are gray iron, ductile iron, low alloy steels and some high alloy steels. Our Al and Mg parts are generally high volume products for industries like automotive or hand tools. Our Cu based castings are generally medium to low volume for products like impellers, bushings, etc.

Sizes:
Our Fe based castings are generally medium to large in size, ranging from 50 lbs to well over 20 tons though we can certainly provide smaller high volume Fe based castings. For non-ferrous castings we can produce castings ranging from less than 1 lb up to 100 lbs.

Unit volumes:
Generally Unimacts provides low to medium volumes of castings. Our facilities provide a large number of castings with annual volumes of less than 10 parts. We also have the ability to manufacture high volume parts, especially for the smaller size castings.
