The engine that drives Unimacts is manufacturing…the actual making of parts and assemblies in our global network of low-cost-country factories. The factories in our network have been identified, visited, evaluated, audited and developed by Unimacts people.We understand their capabilities and limitations, and endeavor to match each family of parts with a factory that has the right technology, envelope and process “sweet spot” for those parts.

But putting parts in capable factories in low-cost countries is only a small part of what Unimacts does—once a solid, competitive factory is identified, Unimacts works to continuously improve the factory’s business systems. This continuous improvement effort begins with a Unimacts assessment of the needs of the factory and guides investment in technology, commercial processes, manufacturing management, quality systems, and even in the factory leadership team.

In addition to continuously developing our factories, Unimacts has developed a set of supply management tools which link to those factory systems to enhance the delivered value to Unimacts customers. These links reside within the Unimacts Operating System and enable clear, timely communication of what is going on at the factory, with each project.
