Position Description
This Supply Chain Manager (SCM) plays a critical role in our company. The SCM supports all cycles of the Unimacts sell to cash process. They support the Sales Exec on sales calls, help define the best solution for the customer and take responsibility for execution. They will review RFQs and drawings that come in from customers. They will help turn these requests into outgoing RFQs to our suppliers around the world. They will answer questions from our global suppliers throughout the RFQ process. They will help determine “should cost” for parts. They will help the Sales Exec prepare and present a solution to the customer. They will support the NPI or PPAP process once contracts are awarded. This person must be a self-starter and comfortable working all aspects of manufacturing of engineered mechanical components. The SCM MUST be interested in managing a global business.
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic understanding of industrial manufacturing processes - casting, forging, fabrication and machining processes and materials – iron, steel,
aluminum and copper alloys
- Understanding of the sourcing process and basic supplier management
- Basic understanding of manufacturing cost analysis
- Understanding of a PPAP process – process flows, control plans, FMEA, Gauge R&R, inspection sheets, etc.
- Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as email and browser-based business applications
- Familiarity with Bills of Material, and supply chain planning and execution systems
Desired Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of engineering, manufacturing or sourcing of engineered mechanical components
- Sourcing and supply chain project experience
- Experience with supply contracts, global logistics and low cost country supply chain experience
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, TS16949 and ISO 900x certification requirements
- Lean manufacturing experience
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing engineering
- Experience in CAD and CAM systems
- Chinese language (Mandarin) skills
Additional Information
- Compensation:Base salary, quarterly bonus, equity plan
- Travel: 10 to 30% travel - both domestic and international

Position Description
This business executive will lead all aspects of Unimacts’ client

The GSCE will work very closely with the “Client Operations Executive” to define,
sell and deliver an integrated end-to-end supply source solution for the client.
The GSCE will position a set of products and services that will provide
a significant value proposition for the client. The GSCE will continue to lead the
Unimacts relationship with the client after the sale and be responsible for ensuring
customer satisfaction and pursuing follow-on opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- 10+ years, in commercial roles, in manufacturing
- Proven ability to sell and exceed quota
- Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with industrial manufacturing products and processes
- Familiarity with supply chain planning and execution systems
- Understanding of engineering design systems and processes
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and ISO 900x certification requirements

Sourcing Manager
Position: Sourcing

Location: Shanghai area, China

engineering design services to industrial original equipment manufacturers
(IOEMs) in North America. Unimacts provides castings, forgings,
fabrications, assemblies, and machine shop services. These products
and services are delivered from Unimacts' network of highly qualified
supply sources in emerging markets.
Position Description
Unimacts is looking for sourcing manager for its China operations.
The key responsibility of this person will be to identify, screen,
qualify and continuously coach and improve regional suppliers in order to
meet Unimacts’ stringent quality standards. Work with these suppliers
and our US customers to get sample parts approved. Manage the supplier’s
production and quality control, and logistics in China to make sure parts
are shipped according to schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years in industrial manufacturing, primarily in production, procurement and quality/process control
- Team player able to work independently with strong focus on delivering results and exceeding expectations
- Multilingual –English and Chinese required
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and standards
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, ISO 900x certification requirements, PPAP, etc.
- Ability to read drawings and understand Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances
- College degree
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with establishing supply base for western industrial multinationals in China
- Strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management experience
- Strong expertise around western manufacturing techniques (lean manufacturing, JIT, etc.)
- Existing strong relationship with Chinese industrial suppliers
- Experience working for western industrial multinationals
- Experience with the AIAG PPAP process
- Certified six sigma (master) black belt
- Engineering college degree
