Position Description
Unimacts has a newly created Operations Engineer role for a talented manufacturing and industrial engineer who wants to work at a progressive company where safety and innovation is valued. As an Operations Engineer, you will be working with operations employees to achieve operational excellence, whether it be supporting those who build the product, work continuous improvement projects, apply zero defect and Six Sigma principles, or supplier quality improvements.
This position will focus primarily in our rapidly growing OEM Equipment business, which provides structural and safety critical components across a variety of different industries including Material Handling, Marine, Construction, and Wind Power. Today, we currently source product from overseas locations such as, India, China, and Korea and have rapidly developing demand for product from Mexico. These products are manufactured both internally at Unimacts factories, and at partner factories, globally.
The Operations Engineer (OE) will support the business unit leader in all aspects of the Unimacts Operating System (UOS) – comprised of key areas such as, Supplier Development, Sourcing, Engineering, New Product Introduction, Manufacturing, and Delivery of highly engineered products. The OE ensures production quality and timely schedules to meet customer expectations. The OE will partner with our global logistics team to ensure on-time delivery to the customer. This role is for an “industrial athlete” – someone who can, and likes to, wear many hats, will provide tremendous opportunity to obtain a high comfort level in leading and managing multiple global projects.

Compensation: Competitive base salary plus quarterly bonus based on performance.
Travel: estimated 30% travel – both domestic and international (passport will be needed).
