Position Description
As an Operations Engineer, you will be working with operations employees to achieve operational excellence, whether it be supporting those who build the product, work continuous improvement projects, apply zero defect and Six Sigma principles, or supplier quality improvements. This position will focus primarily in our rapidly growing Wind business.
The Operations Engineer (OE) will support the commercial leader in all aspects of the sourcing, production, and delivery of renewable energy. This entails global sourcing of steel beams, delivery to either internal manufacturing facilities or to partner factories. The OE ensures production quality and timely schedules to meet customer expectations. The OE will partner with our global logistics team to ensure on-time delivery to the customer. This role is for an “industrial athlete” – someone who can, and likes to, wear many hats, will provide tremendous opportunity to obtain a high comfort level in leading and managing multiple global projects.

NOTE: In this role, the Operations Engineer will be traveling or working from home.

Compensation: Competitive base salary plus semi-annual bonus based on performance.
Travel: estimated 30% travel – both domestic and international (passport will be needed).
