Matthew Arnold has 25+ years of global manufacturing and supply chain leadership experience. Matthew has guided Unimacts since its founding in 2002. Prior to Unimacts, he was a VP of Business Development and Product Management at the supply chain software company i2 Technologies. Matthew was a manager in General Electric’s Corporate Initiatives group where he led global sourcing and supply chain projects, helped roll out Six Sigma globally, as well as led GE’s business development efforts to get into wind power. At AT Kearney he was a sourcing and supply chain consultant. Matthew also worked for Kenetech, one of the early companies in the wind industry in the USA, doing supply chain and new product development work. He started his career at General Electric in various quality, manufacturing and engineering roles in aircraft engines and power generation. In addition, Matthew has been a board member and advisor to many young alternative energy and manufacturing companies. Matthew Arnold has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Union College and an MBA from Harvard.
Alan Hays has extensive experience leading Global supply chains, manufacturing operations, product development and quality organizations in Europe the US, Latin America, and Asia, Alan leads the Unimacts operations and supply chain. As a leadership team member in companies ranging from Fortune 500 global corporations through to innovative start-up businesses, he has a broad range of skills which provide a unique ability to engage with the customer and fully understand their needs regardless of the scope or complexity of their business challenge. A lean process-oriented strategist and practitioner, Alan is passionate about delivering total supply chain solutions which provide outstanding service levels and excellence in customer satisfaction. Alan earned his BS in Industrial Engineering from Durham Technical College in the UK.
Andrew Woglom has more than 20 years of experience as an operations-oriented, strategic finance executive. Andrew brings diverse experience from manufacturing, distribution, aerospace, aviation, software defense contracting and construction industries. Prior to Unimacts, Andrew was the CFO for several manufacturing and distributions businesses, as well as a US Government defense contractor. Before those roles, Andrew was focused on mergers and acquisitions at a private equity firm in Denver and spent several years in New York in investment banking at Tri-Artisan Partners, a start-up merchant banking firm, and at Lehman Brothers. Andrew Woglom has a BA in Economics from Yale University.
As Managing Director for Europe, Soren Halmo manages all facets of the European business from logistics and operations to manufacturing. Soren has over twenty years of delivering operational excellence with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Soren draws upon his extensive career in wind power and industrial manufacturing. He has deep referenceable expertise in both on and off- shore wind. This proven success, combined with his thorough knowledge of engineering, is a contributing factor that allows Unimacts to deliver excellence every time. Previously, Soren has held executive leadership positions at Vestas Towers A/S, NEG Micon Control Systems, and EM Fiberglass A/S. Soren holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Odense and an MBA from Insead in France.
As Country Manager for India, Vikas Sharma oversees local manufacturing facilities and logistics and operations centers, thus ensuring that clients receive high-quality low-cost perfect parts just in time. With his global perspective and entrepreneurial mindset, Vikas has had a successful career in industrial procurement at Ingersoll Rand, GE Energy, Alstom and Lanco Infratech. Most recently, he was the Regional Sourcing Manager with oversight of India, Australia, and MENA at First Solar. Vikas has over 18 years of work experience in supply chain, project management, and pre-sales functions. He earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing) from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and holds a B.E. in Production Engineering from Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. While at GE, Vikas earned Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification.
As Country Manager for China, ASEAN, Korea, Ray Yu oversees local engineering & manufacturing facilities, logistics and operations centers, thus ensuring that clients receive the perfect SQDC performance from the supply bases. With his global perspective and entrepreneurial mindset, Ray has had a successful career at Mikuni, Eaton, General Motors, Fuyao, Federal-Mogul etc. Most recently, he was the General Manager of PT. Lihe Automotive Indonesia. Ray has over 20 years of work experience in engineering, sales, quality and operations functions. He earned a joint Master of Business Administration from Shanghai University of Finance & Economy-Webster University in 2003 and earned a Master of Energy & Power Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 1997.
