Position Description
The Unimacts Sales Executive is an individual who can create and present a good value proposition to VP level sourcing or supply chain executives. This Sales professional will have a good network of relationships in the solar industry and knows how to get in the door of prospects where they do not have a current relationship.
This Sales professional is a “hunter” – can get us in the door. We have good “farmers” who can take care of execution and growth once we get in the door.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and identify opportunities to secure new business for EPC and OEM customer base and optimize profit and increase revenue in the Solar Market.
- Work closely with the Director of Sales to design and implement new strategies to drive business growth.
- Identify new markets to widen market base.
- Collaborate with engineer and marketing team to design new services and products for enhancing business growth.
- Preparing presentations, quotations and negotiation of supply agreements.
- Attend trade shows and regular team meetings.
- Provide monthly forecasts to ensure a smooth supply chain.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of selling and delivering supply chain solutions to Solar EPCs and OEMs.
- Solid rolodex of VP level supply chain executives.
- Proven business and sales acumen, including the ability to prospect accounts and navigate within a customer organization.
- Technical background – innate sense of curiosity – attention to detail – passion for excellence – high integrity.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing engineering.
- Excellent Microsoft skills- Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook, Teams etc.
- Experience with sourcing and supply chain consulting – ability to lead a consulting-type project.
- Familiarity with supply chain planning and execution systems.
- Experience in steel products, especially the W beams supply chain market in the US.
- Good understanding of the US Solar Market and the associated stakeholders involved in utility-scale solar projects.
- Knowledge of low-cost country supply chain experience.
- Strong customer orientation to include responsive and knowledgeable support.
- Proficient in Fishbowl, or similar CRM a plus.
Additional Information
Compensation: Competitive base salary plus attractive bonus/commission potential
Travel: 50% travel – both domestic and international
